The draw for customers to Columbia, S.C.-based specialty retailer Britton's was Southern Tide, a new brand. "We had a significant increase Thursday through Saturday, driven by three bright spots," said Perry Lancaster, manager. They are piqué knit, two-button polo shirts and bow ties by Southern Tide; cut-and-sewn sport shirts by Bugatchi Uomo and Overton Apparel; and Bills Khakis. Lancaster said Britton's had no price promotions.
